The Celebration will be held during the Gibson County Fair — it is held on the 1st day of the Fair. The Fair and the Association work together, the Association has a Parade and its own events to celebrate Labo Day. Many FREE exhibits, amusements and attractions will be offered.
There will be a band of genuine American Indiana that will camp on the Gibson County Fairgrounds. They will give a FREE exhibit each day: Grand Powwow, the Snake dance, Warand a War dance will be featured.
The Kennedy Wild West Hippodrome & Congress of Rough Riders will perform FREE for all.
Races will be featured: Hurdle races, Roman Hippodrome, Roman Chariot races, racing greyhounds, Harness & Trotter races.
Admission is FREE to the Fairgrounds along with FREE .

starting at Princeton Fairgrounds and travel to Taylor’s Store then South to the Public Square, then West to the E & T railroad, then East on Main Street—crossing to the Public Square on West Emerson, East to Hart Street, South to State Street, East to Main Street, South to Broadway, West to Hart, North to State & West – then North on State Street to Fairgrounds.

Other Celebrations were held in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Vincennes, Sullivan, Washington. They all had a UMWA presence as well as an American Federal of Labor involvement.

Sullivan, Indiana Celebration
Weather:
Location: Coffman’s Park
Chief Parade Marshall was S. O. Self , there were over 400 marchers in the Parade. Elder David Francis acted as Master of Ceremonies for the program. Speakers: Rev, James Saunders of Hymera, Indiana, John C. Chaney, an in the evening William A. Hays was the speaker. After which a grand firework display followed the speeches. The Fireworks was over seen by W. E. Woods of Evansville, Indiana. William Lackey, spoke on the Public Square along with the Sullivan band.
