1970 Labor Day Association History
Weather – Bright and Sunny Skies
The Parade was covered by 2 local TV stations
Sacred Services will not be held this year because of lack of attendance.
Kathy Johnson will sing National Anthem.
John Fread Decorating will do decorating on fairgrounds.
Betty and the Nitetimers will play through the Celebration.
Army band from Ft. Campbell will lead the Parade.
Otwell, Princeton, Owensville, Ft. Branch, Haubstadt, Oakland City and Boonville bands.
Each band that played on Saturday night got to enter a Queen Pageant candidate;
