1952 Labor Day Association History
Attendance – 30,000
This year is the first mention we have of any Labor Day Queen in our history.
Capitol City Carnival Rides provided the Carnival Rides.
Barnes & Carruthers had the Free Acts.
Milton Board was the Master of Ceremonies for Sunday & Robert Tuley was the Master of Ceremonies for Monday.
The main speakers were Indiana Lt. Governor-John Watkins and Louis Austin of the UMWA International Office.
 
 
Labor Day Queen
Joan Willis, 16 year old of Petersburg. She is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Edison Willis. Jana Willis was sponsored by the Petersburg, Indiana Jaycees.

137th Labor Day Celebration starts in:
